Chapter 52: Exhausted, Seeking Sponsorship
by xennovelIt was a clear morning at Linchuan University the wind rustling through the lush leaves on the trees.
Jiang Qin walked along Academy Road 2 in the early morning light seeing students out for a morning jog feeling an onrush of vitality and energy.
He had planned to meet with Dong Wenhao and Pang Hai from the design department on the main campus today to discuss promotional matters.
How should they design the posters?
What specific promotion methods would they use?
How could they maximize the promotional effect?
After all tomorrow was already Monday Jiang Qin had to attend military training again and couldn’t take time off but he also didn’t want to cut corners for himself so follow-up matters had to be arranged in advance handed over to subordinates to handle so neither side would be delayed.
Dong Wenhao had always been responsible for website content and wasn’t skilled at promotional matters but Jiang Qin still called him over.
On one hand it was because Pang Hai was Dong Wenhao’s friend making it convenient to discuss matters.
Additionally Jiang Qin felt Dong Wenhao was quite creative had strong organizational skills and decent character so he wanted to give him more of a sense of participation in the development of Zhihu a strong sense of participation would naturally evolve into a sense of belonging it wouldn’t be bad to dig him out from the Literature Club later to be a dedicated content manager.
Fifteen minutes later Jiang Qin arrived at the girls’ dormitory building.
After receiving Jiang Qin’s call Feng Nanshu had obediently waited downstairs she wore a long Chanel dress today with a pure white skirt ethnic embroidery on the top and sheer chiffon sleeves making her entire being appear exceptionally serene the black ribbon tied in a butterfly knot at the neckline adding a scholarly touch to her pure lively charm.
Jiang Qin stopped in his tracks feeling that no matter how many times he saw the little rich girl he would always be stunned by her beauty he didn’t know how such a pretty face was formed.
This girl no wonder she could stir emotions even in a heart sealed in concrete…
Why was she so attached to him?
Damn why did thinking about this make him feel a bit excited?
Jiang Qin couldn’t help recalling the questions Feng Nanshu had asked on the website last night his expression turned serious for a moment thinking little rich girl your friendship has probably turned a bit strange.
After meeting up with Feng Nanshu the two went to the Linchuan University library.
Jiang Qin found a seat and handed her the milk tea he had bought on the way “Be good today okay? Go find a book to read I need to discuss some things with others.”
“Okay.”
Feng Nanshu readily agreed then ran over to the bookshelves circled around found a few books to bring back and read quietly not making a fuss.
But just her presence made all the guys in the library lose their composure constantly glancing over.
Jiang Qin didn’t stand on ceremony whoever looked over he would stare back after three minutes his eyes were sore but the number of people sneaking peeks at Feng Nanshu still kept climbing.
Then Dong Wenhao and Pang Hai arrived.
Jiang Qin retracted his gaze and without much pleasantry directly informed them of his promotional plan.
“The weather has been very hot lately I plan to print the promotional posters on fans that way the retention rate will be higher people generally won’t casually throw them away at that time everyone will have one the whole street will be full of them even those who didn’t get a fan will probably be curious to put it simply it’s the same item effect.”
“……”
Jiang Qin talked to himself for a while suddenly realizing the two people’s eyes looked a bit dazed “Old Dong Old Pang? Were you listening to me?”
Dong Wenhao and Pang Hai abruptly came back to their senses moving their gaze from Feng Nanshu’s face then wiping the drool from their mouths their eyes filled with shock “Junior schoolmate who is this? Isn’t she too beautiful!”
Jiang Qin glanced at Feng Nanshu “She’s mine don’t look!”
Feng Nanshu obediently nodded “His.”
“……”
Dong Wenhao and Pang Hai exchanged a glance recalling Chu Siqi and Hong Yan from the east campus the other day thinking the disparity in this person’s life was so obvious it made one not want to live.
Junior schoolmate you’re already so colorful in your first year what will become of you in your second and third years?
No wonder he had arrogantly said that day that the looks of girls on east campus weren’t that high in front of a girl like this who would dare mention the words “high looks”.
“Right junior schoolmate if I didn’t mishear you said just now you wanted to make fans?”
Pang Hai forcibly shifted his attention back suddenly realizing the keywords in that previous segment.
“Right is there a problem?”
Jiang Qin had never done this kind of thing before everything was based on his ideas but looking at Pang Hai’s reaction it probably wasn’t very simple.
“To be honest if it’s making flyers and posters those can be done anywhere but irregular print products like fans are difficult without specialized equipment it won’t work you can only find a professional print factory for this you can design the patterns and content but you’ll have to personally go discuss the printing.”
Jiang Qin nodded thoughtfully “Do you know any print factories? Introduce me to a couple.”
“I do I got to know a few when I was working part-time before I can send you the addresses.”
Pang Hai took out his phone and sent over the addresses “After you discuss it have someone on their side contact me I’m familiar with the process but the matter of money…”
“Old Pang don’t be so mercenary my boss is such a wealthy second generation how could he shortchange you?” Dong Wenhao raised his eyebrows.
“Yes yes of course!”
The corner of Jiang Qin’s mouth twitched thinking fuck this is a money-adding layman.
But college students were relatively down-to-earth if they took money they would definitely do the job well unlike some old foxes in society who took money but didn’t do the work Jiang Qin was quite willing to solve problems with money.
After they finished chatting Jiang Qin took Feng Nanshu out of the school gate planning to ask around at the print factories.
After all he only had this afternoon of free time the sooner the better.
The weekend temperature was damn high the sun huge Jiang Qin cursed as soon as he left the school gate “If I knew I would have bought a car taxis aren’t even allowed on the pedestrian street in the university town annoying as hell.”
“Car?”
Jiang Qin glanced at Feng Nanshu suddenly raising the corner of his mouth “Having a car would make many things much more convenient able to go anywhere even farther places to have fun doesn’t that make your heart race? Beg me if you beg me I’ll buy one.”
“……”
Feng Nanshu glanced at him took out her phone and tapped away for a bit.
Two minutes later a black Bentley drove over from the street corner slowly stopping in front of them.
A middle-aged man in a black suit and white gloves got out of the car it was none other than Feng Nanshu’s personal driver.
“Young miss good afternoon.”
“Young master Jiang long time no see.”
Jiang Qin was stunned immediately recognizing this was the little rich girl’s driver Uncle Gong because last time when they went to the hot spring town it was Uncle Gong who drove them.
Is this the presence of a wealthy family’s daughter? Too domineering.
“Uncle Gong why are you still in Linchuan?”
Uncle Gong nodded with a smile “We never left after coming renting an apartment in the community right in front of the school gate young miss if you need anything we can rush over at a moment’s notice.”
Feng Nanshu quietly tugged the corner of Jiang Qin’s clothes gazing at him with clear eyes “There’s a car now.”
Yes there’s a car now but Jiang Qin suddenly didn’t feel like working hard anymore his eyes clearly expressing a desire to be sponsored.
