Chapter Index

After the perfect weekend passed military training at Linchuan University continued. In the morning they first ran ten laps around the field then stood at attention practicing marching steps punching out a set of “Bandit Exciting Fists”. After a set of this combo all the freshmen on the field were wilted exhausted to the point of barely being able to stand or sit properly.

Jiang Qin took off his hat the part in contact with his hand soaked with sweat then reached back to hook it on his bent knee.

Right at this moment a slender hand suddenly stretched out from behind him passing over half a bottle of Wahaha mineral water.

    “Jiang Qin want some water?”

Song Qingqing sat behind and to the right of the formation body slightly leaning forward blinking her eyeliner-adorned eyes at him.

“Forget it Qingqing you already drank from that bottle better drink from mine mine hasn’t been opened yet.”

Jiang Tian also reached out to pass a bottle of Wahaha mineral water his plain face showing a hint of blush.

Jiang Qin had indeed forgotten to bring water today so he took Jiang Tian’s water and drank two mouthfuls: “Thanks I’ll buy one to pay you back tomorrow.”

“No need to pay back it’s just a bottle of water.”

As Jiang Tian spoke the corners of his mouth couldn’t help but raise while Song Qingqing’s eyes showed a bit of resentment.

But after the resentment she began to comfort herself.

Don’t be angry his family has a Bentley his family has a Bentley…

Seeing this scene Zhou Chao sitting behind him was so sour he wanted to die nearly biting his teeth to bits feeling the Coke in his hand instantly lost its sweetness turning into soulless soda water.

“Pan Xiu I forgot to bring water too.” Ren Ziqiang suddenly spoke up.

Pan Xiu revealed her two dimples: “After scientific research people need to go three consecutive days without drinking water to die of thirst.”

    “…”

After a while the instructor felt they had trained enough so he gathered the four nearby formations together asking if anyone was willing to come do a talent show.

Despite everyone usually being lively in the dorms all sorts of domineering when faced with so many people they were indeed a bit shy so out of over two hundred people not a single one spoke up all chickening out.

The instructor saw this wouldn’t do so he said there were still two hours until military training ended.

Either have students with talent perform for two hours or everyone could run laps for two hours together.

Hearing these words the formations immediately became restless.

God one hour was already exhausting two hours wouldn’t their legs fall off? Better go with the talent show then.

“Instructor Li Cancan can do ballet!”

“Instructor Du Jiahao can squirt water from his nose super high!”

“Instructor Jia Xiangru can do the peacock dance!”

“Instructor Yang Liu can sing ‘Little Dimples’!”

“Hey Liu Jinghao can also sing ‘Little Dimples’ let them do a duet!”

With the betrayal of various close friends some students had no choice but to come out and perform after all no one wanted to run laps around the field for two hours.

This generation of young people indeed had some skills especially that one who could squirt water from his nose although everyone found it a bit disgusting if you asked someone else to do it they really couldn’t.

But after showing this talent his chances of finding a girlfriend in college were pretty much completely given up.

God which girl would like a guy who could spray water from his nostrils even if there was one she would be a pervert.

The male-female duet of “Little Dimples” was also very good the two singing while making eyes at each other causing the formations to whoop and holler this whooping had the flavor of youth in an instant making the atmosphere on scene become lively.

Also Li Cancan’s ballet was performed at a high level but what attracted people the most was still her figure spinning and leaping eyes closed about to burst out.

“Fuck luckily Old Cao didn’t come to watch our military training today.” Ren Ziqiang muttered to himself.

Zhou Chao couldn’t help but turn his head: “What’s wrong?”

“If he’s not fully recovered yet he’d be in agony!”

Zhou Chao suddenly realized: “Old Ren you really know how to put yourself in others’ shoes.”

After a while Song Qingqing also couldn’t resist volunteering going up to perform a segment of Jolin Tsai’s “Dancing Diva” both singing and dancing making the boys in the formations howl.

Hearing the cheers around her Song Qingqing couldn’t help feeling a bit smug so her gaze subconsciously glanced towards her own formation but found that while everyone was looking up at her only Jiang Qin kept his head lowered making her gaze dim uncontrollably.

This man what does he actually like?

“Jiang Qin was my dancing just now not good?” Song Qingqing returned to the formation asking a bit resentfully.

“Huh? It was good jumped high and far.”

    “?”

Jiang Tian had been eavesdropping on their conversation the whole time and directly couldn’t hold back laughing out loud.

Song Qingqing felt a bit awkward but also couldn’t muster any blame.

If it was an ordinary boy from an ordinary family treating her like this it would be putting on airs but since he was a rich second generation being a bit aloof and cold actually seemed reasonable.

But actually it wasn’t that Jiang Qin didn’t want to watch but that Pang Hai had suddenly sent him a message saying the designs for the advertising fans were done and now he needed to coordinate with Shengshi Advertising.

With a phone from 2008 besides text and built-in emoticons nothing else could be sent Jiang Qin couldn’t see the image so he had no way to confirm if the content was suitable.

When would this talent show end?

If not then make an excuse to go to the bathroom.

Jiang Qin put away his phone and was about to raise his hand but found that everyone around was shouting: Instructor do one Instructor do one!

The instructor also seemed to be infected by this enthusiastic atmosphere so he took off his shirt revealing his muscular physique and tan skin performing a set of capturing fists on the spot.

The fist techniques were vigorous and powerful making all the freshmen cheer.

After finishing this set of capturing fists the instructor wiped his sweat with his shirt his gaze falling back on the formations when his eyes suddenly lit up pointing at Class 3.

“Come that male student raising his hand come up and perform.”

    “????”

Jiang Qin looked around finding he was the only one with a raised hand while everyone in the four formations was looking at him.

He even saw a strange anticipation flashing in Song Qingqing and Jiang Tian’s eyes while in the neighboring formation Feng Nanshu also slightly stood up gazing at him with bright eyes.

No I just wanted to go to the bathroom you know?

    As for talent.

    What’s talent?

But in this situation you definitely can’t make an excuse anymore if you said sorry instructor I need to pee that would be too embarrassing.

Jiang Qin picked up his hat put it on and walked out of the formation coming to the instructor’s side without any change in expression.

    “What’s your name?”

    “Jiang Qin.”

    “What talent do you have?”

    “Instructor I can do impressions.”

    “Impressions of what?”

    “Impressions of you Instructor.”

Hearing these words the formations exploded into an uproar.

The fist techniques the instructor had just demonstrated were majestic and imposing if you weren’t a professional soldier there was no way to exude that aura this guy could actually imitate it? Was he lying!

But after hearing this the instructor’s eyes lit up thinking Linchuan University was indeed full of talent so he immediately retreated to the side giving Jiang Qin the empty space in front.

“Now I am the instructor when you watch in a moment you must immerse yourself imagining me as the instructor this is a very important prerequisite understand?”

The freshmen also couldn’t figure out what he was up to so they subconsciously nodded.

So Jiang Qin walked to the front of the four formations with his hands behind his back: “Everyone follow my orders formations dismissed!”

    “???”

The people in the formations were dazed for a second then had an epiphany raising their butts and charging out the entire field shaking with deafening cheers.

The instructor was dumbfounded rushing to stop them but there were over two hundred people in the four formations no matter who he tried to block he couldn’t so over two hundred freshmen swarmed out of the field stunning the people in the other formations.

Only Feng Nanshu still stood in place in a daze watching Jiang Qin seeming to still be preparing to enjoy his fist demonstration but in the next second was pulled away by Jiang Qin vanishing from the field in the blink of an eye.

    Chapter Summary

During a break in military training, the instructor asks for talent show volunteers. After impressive displays, he picks Jiang Qin, who claimed he could imitate the instructor. In a twist, Jiang Qin orders the formations to dismiss, causing chaos as hundreds of students flee the field, ending the training early. Feng Nanshu is the only one left behind, still expecting to see Jiang Qin's demonstration.
