Chapter 312: New Beginnings on Campus

It was their first time entering university and meeting new classmates.

Once all the students had packed their luggage and sorted out the random odds and ends,

the Class Three advisor sent a message in the group chat, telling everyone to gather in the large classroom for their first meeting.

The large classroom was close to the girls’ dormitory.

Lin Zheng Ran told the three guys not to wait for him and to head to the classroom first.

After all, once he got to the boys’ dormitory, he found his roommates were really friendly, and it would take a while to get away.

Although Lin Zheng Ran knew this enthusiasm probably wouldn’t last long.

But at the start, the guys were all chatting away nonstop.

For example, the moment they saw Lin Zheng Ran, a guy with a buzz cut and a simple, innocent face exclaimed:

“Whoa, dude, you’re freaking handsome! And not in that pretty-boy idol way, but just straight-up good-looking! Let’s shake on it! I’m Zhang Xin Long. What’s your name?”

Lin Zheng Ran chuckled, “Lin Zheng Ran. Hey, we’re both in the same boat—you’re not bad yourself.”

“Ha! Man, you know how to talk. We’re friends from now on! Just call me Da Long, and I’ll call you Da Lin.”

After a quick exchange of pleasantries.

Through a simple chat, Lin Zheng Ran found out he and this guy named Zhang Xin Long were in the same class.

Both in Economic Class Three.

Once they finished setting up their beds, Zhang Xin Long and Lin Zheng Ran headed to the classroom together:

“Dude, you know what? I heard our class has some real knockouts, and our advisor is gorgeous! We’re the luckiest freshmen group out there.”

“Really?” Lin Zheng Ran wasn’t too excited about beauties—he’d seen plenty.

But Zhang Xin Long thought Lin Zheng Ran’s casual response meant he didn’t believe him:

“No kidding, bro! I’m not lying. I heard it before coming. At least, our advisor is a total stunner. I caught a glimpse from afar when I arrived—wow, her looks are off the charts. Though she has a ring on, so she might be married.”

Lin Zheng Ran replied offhandedly, “Married? So, a married woman, huh.”

“Whoa, you get it, bro!” He laughed. “I like your style! But personally, I’m not into older women—I prefer the fresh, vibrant type. So, even if a pretty older sister shows up, she won’t win me over.”

Lin Zheng Ran gazed ahead. He wasn’t picky, especially with his current four girlfriends.

From Lily’s twin-tailed loli vibe to Jiang Jingshi’s big-sister charm, Lin Zheng Ran figured his tastes weren’t that specific.

They arrived at the large classroom.

There weren’t many people inside yet.

Just about ten or so sitting around, with plenty more still on their way.

Those three girls had taken longer than him and weren’t there yet—he couldn’t spot them.

At the front of the large classroom, on the podium,

a female teacher in high heels and a white knee-length skirt stood there, with a large floral round sun hat placed on the podium.

The teacher had an amazing figure—curvy in all the right places, fair-skinned and beautiful—with a silver artistic necklace around her neck that looked familiar, and half-frame glasses on her nose.

Her thick, long hair fell over her shoulders, tied back with a hair tie at the nape for a more substantial, simple look.

Looking closer, she had a ring on her left middle finger, which, based on the position, didn’t mean she was married.

But it did show she was taken.

Even with a quick glance, Lin Zheng Ran could tell from her outfit that this teacher had great looks and taste.

Zhang Xin Long saw the advisor in the classroom and greeted her, “Hello, Teacher!”

The advisor on the podium turned and said casually, “Hello, come on in and sit down.” But as soon as she said that,

this beautiful teacher’s almond-shaped eyes narrowed slightly.

Lin Zheng Ran’s eyes widened in shock too.

Not for any other reason, but because this stunning advisor was actually the deputy general manager of Zheng Shi Company—his own girlfriend, Jiang Jingshi!

Jiang Jingshi, standing there, seemed to have expected his arrival, so after a brief moment of surprise, she smiled faintly.

To avoid drawing attention, she hid the slight blush on her face and quickly looked back down at the materials in her hands.

Zhang Xin Long nudged Lin Zheng Ran with his elbow and whispered, “See, bro? I wasn’t kidding. Isn’t our advisor gorgeous?”

Lin Zheng Ran gave an awkward smile, “Yeah, she is.”

This time, it was the truth.

They found a seat and sat down.

Lin Zheng Ran studied Jiang Jingshi in her current outfit. Compared to her usual style, today she looked more understated.

Her hairstyle was different too, and with the glasses, she almost seemed like a different person at first glance.

But since she was his girlfriend, a closer look confirmed it quickly.

Feeling Lin Zheng Ran’s gaze, Jiang Jingshi pursed her red lips and stayed quiet, not daring to meet his eyes.

university wasn’t like high school—without the intense study pressure, and with her sister seeming so motivated lately,

A few girls up front were chatting with Jiang Jingshi to get closer: “Teacher, you’re so pretty! You even look a bit like that angel from the recent news!”

“Teacher, do you have a boyfriend? I noticed you’re wearing a ring.”

Jiang Jingshi laughed, “Yes, I’m engaged.”

“How lucky!”

Jiang Jingshi gave the students a polite smile, wondering if Zheng felt the same way.

She wasn’t sure if this look appealed to him.

She sneaked a peek at Lin Zheng Ran at the back of the classroom.

But seeing his puzzled stare, she quickly coughed lightly and looked away.

Lin Zheng Ran just sighed quietly.

Soon, the three little ones walked in together, drawing everyone’s attention in the classroom.

Especially the guys, who were stunned and muttering that this year’s campus beauties were set.

Though Jiang Jingshi’s outfit was different today,

and among the three, only Lily had seen her the most, while Han Wenwen hadn’t at all, so they didn’t recognize the advisor.

After greeting Jiang Jingshi, the three scanned the room for someone specific.

Zhang Xin Long, next to Lin Zheng Ran, was floored by the sight of the three girls and blurted out:

“Whoa! Da Lin, look at that! See those three girls at the door? I told you I wasn’t lying—these are definitely the prettiest freshmen girls! We’re in for some good times, bro!”

Before he could finish, he noticed the girls looking their way, his face flushing as he elbowed Lin Zheng Ran, “Oh man, they’re coming over!”
