Chapter Index

Blood Dragon Spear… an epic-level weapon.

It comes with built-in armor penetration, bloodletting, and three ultra-long-range Dragon Shadow strikes…

    Multitasking.

While hurrying back to the Bloodshadow Legion’s base and flipping through the gear Yinglong had unveiled, Yenir muttered a few quiet words before casually tossing the artifact—deemed a marvel by outside Awakeners—into his ring.

Yinglong had revealed so many items that he hadn’t even finished reviewing them all.

A Space Ring crammed with over four billion combined Spirit Crystals and Credit Points.

It might seem like a drop in the bucket compared to his 300 billion, but Yenir knew that maintaining a Safe Zone was extremely costly.

Amassing such wealth was proof enough of Yinglong’s might in Far Frontier.

The remainder consisted of two sets of blue gear, complete with built-in skills, plus a jumble of high-end items.

There were so many that even after nearly half an hour, Yenir hadn’t finished browsing through them.

A lingering sense of dread remained.

Looking at a compendium boasting some thirty to forty different equipment skills, he was relieved he hadn’t given Yinglong any chance to react.

Any delay—even a second or two—and Yinglong, loaded with hidden cards, would have been nearly unstoppable!

Not to mention, he spotted a staggering twelve types of ultra-efficient healing items!

That was like having twelve extra lives!

But for now, they were practically a steal.

“The most prized gear belonged to Yinglong, yet it appears the only item I could use is this helmet?”

Holding a fully enclosed, menacing blood-colored helmet, Yenir’s eyes glinted. After a moment, he decided to hold off on equipping it.

    “Bloodbone Helmet, epic-level.”

“Grants triple visual range, doubles night vision and infrared detection, and comes with a skill akin to biological scanning.”

“Enhances mental resistance and negates same-level detection skills.”

“It includes a one-time Blood Vision attack—firing two high-energy lasers that deliver unavoidable disintegration damage and impose a slowing effect…”

“Great gear, but it stands out too much.”

After fiddling with Yinglong’s signature helmet, Yenir shook his head and decided to toss it into his ring for now.

He could use this gear, but not right now.

Wearing this helmet on his return to the Bloodshadow Safe Zone would surely stir up a storm and rock the Far Frontier!

Even a fool would realize that if Yinglong’s helmet ended up with an outsider, it meant the undisputed ruler of Far Frontier, Yinglong, was dead! How terrifying!

That would instantly shatter the already fragile balance, sparking huge chaos.

This was precisely what Yenir wanted to avoid.

Right now, he didn’t have time to manage the various factions of Far Frontier. He could only attend to unifying the area after the national war ended.

After some deliberation, he decided to keep Yinglong’s demise under wraps—for now.

“As for the rest of the equipment…”

“There are some decent ones, but too few that can be exchanged…”

“Earth Dragon Battle Armor offers high defense and comes with a built-in flesh healing effect. However, compared to my Combat Uniform, it just doesn’t measure up…”

“Phantom Boots provide a burst of ultra-speed sprint and a chargeable damage bonus based on sprint distance. They might be exchangeable—and they even boost flight speed.”

“Revitalized Shoulder Armor enhances flesh regeneration and continuously restores vitality… it’s a bit underwhelming, but probably something Yinglong crafted specifically to fight curses…”

After sifting through the key loot, Yenir awkwardly discovered that he had just two pieces of equipment he could swap.

A helmet and a pair of boots—that was all.

Regarding accessories, he already had two complete sets plus his Ling’an Ring, which was nearly non-negotiable.

In terms of weapons, the Blood Dragon Spear was indeed formidable, but he fought using swords.

For gloves and armor, he had the Ripper Suit and the enigmatic Combat Uniform—and he wasn’t planning on exchanging either.

All in all, most of the loot from Yinglong was of no use to him.

Truly, all of Yinglong’s painstakingly accumulated gear had gone to waste…

“Find a way to trade them… High-end top-quality gear is hard to acquire; no one parts with them even for extra Credit Points. But exchanging items is still fairly easy…”

“Not to mention, this Blood Dragon Spear should be able to get me a proper weapon…”

Glancing at the Elemental Blade in his hand, Yenir inexplicably felt that this weapon was no match for his current power.

Though the Elemental Blade was an epic-level weapon, awarded by the Authorities,

he knew full well that all the genuinely top-tier loot in the treasury had been snagged by the old guard of Peak Third-Stage, leaving only barely usable scraps.

Accustomed to dual-sword combat, he still had no proper weapon; ideally, he wanted to trade both.

“If only I could get a set weapon… However, I’ve only heard of this caliber in the European and American Battle Zones…”

He felt a tinge of regret.

After a sigh, Yenir decided not to dwell on it any longer.

He realized that his haul was so bountiful it would make countless people—and even the Peak Third-Stage—envious. But for him, the missing piece was simply the right gear.

However, the few blood-red Spirit Crystals and two vials of reagents in Yinglong’s ring cheered him up significantly.

Just as he suspected, Yinglong had been collecting resources to enhance his Willpower over the years to make up for his flaws.

Perhaps hoping that a sudden surge in his Willpower might break the curse, he had amassed a vast stockpile of resources over the years.

He hadn’t spared using them, so they all came at a bargain for Yenir.

“Consume it all? That should boost my Willpower by about 13 points.”

“Damn, my Willpower is insanely high right now…”

Glancing at his nearly double-normal Willpower, Yenir couldn’t help but smirk, convinced that his stats were outrageously unbalanced.

He had no choice—naturally, he was built for Willpower; his attribute was always high.

Worldwide, hardly any Peak Third-Stage cultivators could ever rival his Willpower.

    ………………..

    Bloodshadow Safe Zone – Core.

In the dim, sealed room, Blood Nightingale—curling up on her bed—suddenly tensed as her once vacant gaze locked onto the door.

This was the Bloodshadow Legion’s central stronghold—no one dared approach under Yinglong’s orders.

But she had just caught faint sounds coming from outside.

    Who’s back!?

    Yenir… or is it Yinglong!?

    Her breathing quickened.

Seeing Yenir—who always ignored her messages—Blood Nightingale’s face turned ashen.

She wasn’t sure who had come back, but chances were it was Yinglong!

The reason was clear: only about fourteen hours had passed from the time she sent her message to when Yenir agreed to head to Far Frontier.

At that rate, it was doubtful he would even reach Far Frontier in time.
